Elliot Gold Responds...
After we got back from our lunch with Carol Zelkin of the IMCCA, we found in our email a response from Telespan's Elliot Gold about yesterday's entry pertaining to his prediction that "WebEx hits wall by Q1 2006." Here's Elliot Gold's response:
Dear Conferencing News: Yes, the Ides of March have passed, and we're marching toward April, and my prediction "WebEx Hits the Wall by Q1 2006" is still waving in the sand. I certainly hope my prediction is wrong, as I don't want WebEx to fail, or, for that matter, any other company in our industry. Hopefully, this one will join 29 of the 100 in my 10 years of predictions which proved to be wrong. But, to quote Faye Dunaway from the film Three Days of the Condor "The night is young!"

P.S. Shirley LOVED the picture of the handsome guy you ran!
We love this guy, waving-in-the-sand mixed metaphors and all. But we're not so sure the night is so young, Elliot, with 2 weeks left to go in Q1 06 for your prediction. Ånd yes Elliot, as Shirley attests, you are very, very handsome in your fanatical colored glasses.
Again, check out Elliot's well-attended Conferencing Event. It looks to be a great workshop for conferencing service providers.
Oh Elliot, one more thing: If you can break away in Vegas could you lay down a Jackson on 27 RED for us? Thanks.
