What Happens In Vegas Is The Future Of Conferencing?
On March 26th and 27th, Elliot Gold is hosting his second "Future of Conferencing Workshop." Elliot subtitles this conferencing industry event "Are You Under the Dark Cloud Cast by the Good Ship Enterprise or Up For Hosting Opportunities?" (Does the over-reaching metaphor to the Star Ship Enterprise makes sense? We can't figure it out.)
Anyway, as we've said about business travel, we despise airports, smelly planes, and the ridiculous act of spreading bad cheese on a cracker with a red stick. So when business travel is necessary, as it is for attending this workshop, we spend a bit more as any rational Vulcan would to offset the hassle of what could have been done by remote conferencing. But we're not taking Elliot's suggestion for a hotel. We're checking out and checking in to the Wynn Las Vegas (room pictured above) hotel for this conferencing confab.
