Which Phone Are You?
Forum Communications International put out an announcement (with at least a dozen typos) on its website today about its new podcasting capabilities. Podcasting is all the rage as a feature in conferencing. What we were attracted to, however, is the the artwork of the conference table surrounded by diverse drones phones symbolizing a business meeting on the Forum website. This picture just tickles our funny bone like no other. Seriously, look at this picture intensely for about ten seconds and if you don't break out in fits of laughter you're seriously depressed.
Which of the diverse phones do you identify your personality with? It looks like the white Princess touchtone on the right side of the picture is running the meeting. She's all upright with a computer and pen and paper. She's a go-getter and up for another promotion. Or is the leader the upright black phone in the foreground and facing away with the power-play move of bringing his Starbucks coffee to enjoy at the meeting. And what does he also have there, an Apple Newton?
Definitely the most hilarious of the office workers in the meeting is the silver dude on the left of the picture. C'mon, you gotta be in hysterics now. Look at him! He's slouching, looking at the ceiling, and hates meetings. He'd rather be web conferencing to have a meeting so he can multitask and actually get some work done. He looks exhausted from the night before. That phone would be us. ...Which phone are you?!
