Cut and Run
Applause, applause! Bravo! BT Conferencing just had an Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony last week to showcase their new offices and conferencing facilities. BT Conferencing moved its facilities in Massachusetts from Braintree to Quincy (Kwinky to insiders) and none other than the mayor - yes the MAYOR! - of Quincy showed up with his personal set of scissors to cut the celebratory ribbon. Jack Blaeser, US President and GM and LaMont Eanes, VP of Global Operations are seen with Mayor Phelan in the picture. We hear it was a fun, bustling event. Mayor Phelan was last seen running (yes, with scissors)
to .
What we wonder is, what's happening to the size of ribbons? That's the tiniest ribbon used in a ribbon cutting ceremony. Ever. Is there a shortage? Perhaps the little, low-key ribbon fits in well with BT Conferencing's low-key promotion of its brand and attendant services, many of which are private-labeled under their customers' own brand names. Even some of the best known conferencing companies use BT's audio conferencing services under private-label.
Congratulations, BT Conferencing, on your new digs! And tell your Mayor (who looks like he's a cousin of your CEO) it's dangerous to run with scissors.
